Exhaust I would like to make it loud with a header?

I want to make it loud with a header and i have several questions.

Hi,

As header won't make it louder. It will only replace the exhaust manifold and provide freer airflow to the engine. If you want it louder, that will require changing the muffler on the truck.

So, a long tube header wouldn't add any sort of loudness or what do you recommend?

Hi,

It would change the sound but if you pipe them into the same system (muffler) it won't be louder. If you want it to be louder, I would just replace the muffler with an aftermarket from a company like cherry bomb or Flowmaster.

Hi,

Yep, that would be extremely loud. However, it isn't legal in most states. Also, with a 4-cylinder, you may not like how it sounds.
