The car keeps going out of alignment. Had it aligned and new tires less than six months ago. Mechanic said nothing wrong with tie rods, now tire on front drivers side has worn on inside so much wires are showing through. What causes such excessive tire wear if not the tie rods?

Hello,

Tire wear on the inside edge or outside edge of a vehicle's tire is usually caused by an alignment variable referred to as "toe" either in or out. Toe is how close or how far apart your front tires are relative to your rear tires. This is the most common alignment problem on vehicle's.

Thanks,
Alex

I know the car is out of alignment, I asked why it keeps going out of alignment. Wore out new tires on front, inside of tires wore down to the wires. I had a mechanic tell me nothing wrong with tie rods, what else could cause such excessive wear on tires.
