I live in a country with fairly bas roads for a start, some of the mechanic professionals are a bit iffy to say the least and I am on the point of putting 4 new tyres on my car. Bit concerned about the wear on the front ones, I had previously a mondeo and the wishbones were changed about this sort of milage as they had caused abnormal wear on the tyre as they themselves were worn. Is there a simple way to check the focus ones before I spring to the expense of new tyres. Thanks

Cracking or breaks/damage in the rubber bushing. Leaking damaged rubber boot on ball joint. Lift wheel off ground and have someone rock the wheel top and bottom while you look if the ball joint has excessive movement (you should not see movement)
