How to remove the evaporator valve?

I need to change the evaporator valve do I have to remove the dash if so, where can I get directions?

Do you mean the expansion valve or the evaporator core?

When my son put in the new compressor, he used pag 46 oil after that we saw use nd-8 pag. Will this cause problem? John

Hi,

The oil wouldn't have hurt it. They are basically the same thing. And yes, you can replace the expansion valve from under the hood.
