Here is the definition of the code and this problem occurs when the EVAP purge solenoid goes out.

I have replaced that solenoid plus canister vent valve also gas cap, have checked the electrical on the solenoid and wire conn all good. If I have a leak, why would it be so erratic? Plus, what does it hurt if it leaks???

This is a circuit code which means the valve is bad, the wiring or the PCM. It does really hurt anything except for having the check engine light on.
