The clip or connector that goes over the nipple on the turbo pipe will not go. I even took the old assembly and tried that clip and it goes on and off with ease. I know they make repair kits for the purge valve itself. I was wondering if there was any way to replace that one fitting and possibly the hose?

Hi

I'm not sure exactly which connector you are referring to. If I'm correct, it should be a quick connect.

Do me a favor. I attached two pics below. Take a look and let me know if pic 1 shows what you are working with and if pic 2 is the type of connector.

If possible, copy my pic and highlight what you are working with.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Pic 1 isn’t exactly what I’m working with and pic 2 is the wrong style of connector. The connector is exactly like the one in pic 1 on the far left of the pic. In the pic it’s purple and around the intake manifold

Vehicle details: 4WD / AWD, Turbo

It was recommended earlier to spray carb cleaner inside the connector and try to slip it on. I'm still wondering, on the purge valve repair kit there are line couplings. Why could you not put the old clip back ajudt put a coupling in the line?

Yep, the clips can be tough, can you upload an image of it so I can tell you how to disconnect it so I can be sure, but, I think this is what you need to fix it.
