I have an evap code and want to do a smoke test. This is the inline 6 motor, non turbo. I have the common evap code which could be from the gas cap but I want to see where the evap lines are.

If it's the small leak code it is likely the purge valve. There is a TSB (TJ 28228) on them for the valve wearing off center. They supposedly fixed that in the newer version of the valve.
The lines on that system are mostly all in the rear next to the tank, the only line that goes to the front is the vacuum line to the purge valve. It uses a leak detection pump mounted in the rear vent line to the canister and the canister lines to the tank vent. To smoke test it the easy way put a bladder in the tank neck and use a scan tool to close the vent valve. Test the front valve by disconnecting the hose that goes up tp the intake. Be very careful of the plastic disconnects, they are made from extremely poor plastic that does not age well.

That is common when that valve starts to fail. It may stay gone for a while.
