The check engine light is an EVAP vent valve and canister vent valve the same thing and is this the part up high by the filler tube?

Hello, GM call the common evap parts different names it seems lol.
The EVAP vent valve is commonly referred to as the purge valve and it located in the engine bay near the intake manifold.
The EVAP canister vent valve is the one in the rear either near the neck or under by the fuel tank but is attached to the canister. Hope this helps.
