Normally when people say EV swap they want to remove the engine and transmission and put in an electric motor and torque box. If this is the case, then you just need to find a kit that includes a motor able to handle the weight of the vehicle. The options are endless for this as your only limitations are going to be mounting these components and then getting axles that will connect to your half shafts so that the torque can be transferred to the wheels.

However, taking an existing vehicle that does not have a kit made specifically for it introduces all sorts of hurdles as you will have to come up with the mounting of all the components, placement, and connection of the torque box to the axles on your own. It can be done but the generic kits do not include this so it is left to you.
