ESC Service power steering error message?

My car got the error message ESC Service power steering, I do have a worn tire on the right side, steering wheel jerks slightly, steering also pulls toward the right. My question is can this error message come up cause the worn tire and/or can bad wheel alignment cause the error message also?

I don't think the tire or worn components can cause this light to come on, but I have seen a hard system reboot reset the light, so it might be worth a try, please follow this guide:

If this does not work, then the steering motor will need to be replaced. There is no programming necessary so that is nice. Here are the instructions on how to do the job. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
