Hello. Me again.

So long story short, after repairing the no start problem, pcm problem and wiring problem. The car runs smoothly but after driving a few minutes I got the "error" on odometer. Speedometer goes to zero and there is no information on the stereo screen.

When this happens the car keeps running very well. I did not notice anything weird and if I turn the car off I am able to turn it back on without problems.

Can you suggest me an attack plan for this problem?

Thanks.

Hi,

The first thing I suspect is the vehicle speed sensor is failing. If you look at the attached picture below, I highlighted its location.

Have you had the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes? It should show up as a problem. If you did, let me know what codes were found. Also, check the connector to the VSS to make sure it is tight, not corroded, and not damaged. Also, make sure the wiring to it are not damaged as well.

Let me know what you find.
