Monday while driving the engine started misfiring so I drove to an auto parts store and asked them to use their diagnostic machine to see what codes came up. It showed a misfire condition on cylinder 3 and a problem with the anti lock brakes. I drove home, put the car in the garage. Tuesday I start the car and two error lights are on, one for emissions and the other for the vehicle stability, but the engine is now running fine, no misfire. Wednesday I come to the car, start it and no error lights at all, the engine is running smooth. Six months ago the heated drivers seat stopped working while the heated passengers seat continued to work fine. Am I looking at a CPU that's having hiccups?

It is unlikely that all these are related because they are so random and not related to each other.

However, the most common thing that we need to rule out is a weak battery or greater electrical issue.

Here is a guide that will show how to load test the battery which most any parts store can do free of charge:

Also, here is a guide that will help with misfires but if the engine is not missing any more then we should just ignore that for now. Basically if it is running well then we aren't going to find any issues.

Lastly let's check the codes again and let us know what all the codes are when they check the battery.
