This code says that your DFP sensor needs to be replaced or the DFP tank is empty. Do you have an exhaust leak? This can cause this issue as well. The DFP sensor is on top of the fuel tank here is an image of it once the tank has been lowered. Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I’ve had a garage look at it and they are saying it needs a new AdBlue tank and this is a dealer only part. Do you know (roughly) how much this should cost for the part and labor. I know all garages vary but a ballpark figure so that I don’t get overcharged.

Hi, our DS3 has now been repaired. The fault code of P20E8 ended up being a problem with the adblue tank not holding its pressure. A new one was fitted, and the problem was sorted. Wasn’t cheap though as it is a dealer only part I was informed.
