Error code p1113

Hi a car with a spanner lights up on dash when I hit about 40mph, it will then stay on untill I restart the car, for which it stays off. This light comes on every day however the vehicle still performs well. I have done the pedal test and got code p1113, I beleive this is something to do with the flaps in the inlet manifold maybe not opening correctly, please can someone give me imformation regarding this.

we don't have any info on this car but a code p0113 is worldwide and means the air intake sensor has a problem in that circuit. it can be a poor connection at pcm or sensor or shorted wires or bad sensor. But check for any duct work misinstalled and leaking air or grommets off of engine first. Especially if you have just replaced air filter or something similar was done to car.
