The transmission won't go to second gear and when I used a scan tool, I saw code p0776 solenoid B problem.

Code P0776, Transmission will not shift into second gear?

Hi,
The code is specific to an issue with pressure control solenoid B (Shift solenoid valve SL2), which is related to the second gear.
The issue may simply be the solenoid, or it could be other things such as a torque converter clutch issue, a problem within the transmission's valve body, and so on.
We need to diagnose the issue before throwing parts at it. If you look below, I have attached the diagnostics and other information related to the issue. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.
