Was driving and turned a corner and my car died and wont start back up. I have replaced spark plugs and wires, coil pack, speed sensor and one other sensor down by the speed sensor, crank shaft sensor and camshaft sensor and it still wont start. It back fired once after changing all these but that was it. on my dash when I turn my key on and off three times it keeps showing me the P0340 code error. help me please.

Have you checked to see if the timing belt has jumped?

Hi SWEETBRI,

If you decide you would like to conduct the scan yourself here is a link to an article that features written step by step instructions and pictures explaining how to do the scan yourself, also I have included a link to our YouTube channel with a how to video on code scanning.

This is applicable even if your check engine light is not on.

Most scanners are inexpensive to purchase, you can purchase one online from sites like Amazon.com

Once you have the codes please get back to us so that we can further assist you. We are always happy to help.

Thank you for visiting 2CarPros.com.

Kindest regards,

Renee

It's setting the code because the camshafts are not in synch with the Crankshaft because of the timing belt. That's why I asked about it in the first place. If the cams aren't turning, you won't have a can signal.
