Hello,

We have a Dodge Durango 2018/3.6l that is modified for Europe.
One of the rear-view light bulbs on each side is used as Turn Signal now.

Yesterday a display message came up, that says "Turn Signal Rear Right Out". The mirror LEDs on the right side are flashing faster now. Also, the green arrow on the display is flashing faster.

The right rear turn signal flashes in normal speed (also all the other turn signal bulbs and the left mirror LEDs).
When using hazard lights all turn signal lights including the right mirror flash in normal speed.

We noticed that the left side rear view bulb was defective and replaced it and renewed the turn signal bulbs in the tailgate.
Unfortunately, no change - the mirror still flashes very fast.
The OBD shows error code B1646 - turn light rear right short circuit +battery/disruption.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

You say all of the lights work just the right side blinks fast, correct? Can I ask if the bulbs have been replaced with LED's? If so, this will be the problem because the amperage is so much less that regulator bulbs the computer thinks you have a bulb out. Here is the lighting wiring diagrams as it pertains to the BCM, this system is pretty straight forward. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

Hello!

The right-hand mirror LEDs only flash faster when I activate the right turn-signal. As does the green arrow in the display.
The front and rear indicators flash at the same time at normal speed.
When using the hazard warning lights, the mirror flashes normally.

I am attaching a video and a screenshot of the error message.

Thanks for the video, it helps. I would say the BCM is having a problem. I was going to say it might be a bad connection, but the light works normally in the hazard mode which is controlled by the BCM. You can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay. Here is how to change it out and send it in for testing. Also, the BCM may just need to be reprogrammed. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
