Transmission not shifting properly and AT light turns on

AT light comes on after third gear and it gets stuck on fourth gear and fifth gear never kicks in why?

This sounds like you have an input shaft speed sensor that is not working correctly but to be sure we need to run the codes; this guide can help, and I have the sensor location in the diagrams below:
