The steering wheel is hard to turn when the vehicle is stationary. The fuses are okay in the engine bay and passenger compartment. However, we do not want to guess. The inscription is Japanese. Can you assist with information and diagrams relative to system operation and location of components. Thanks!

The first year the Honda Accord had EPS in the states is in 2005 so that is the information I will give you. I would start by checking the fuse# 22 in the fuse panel under the hood and fuse# 21 in the interior fuse panel. This guide can help you see if they have power and I have included the EPS wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.

Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Thanks for the aid. VIN: GH-CF3, CF3-1311091 TYPE 1.8VTE SOA2 50 '-NH624P seems to be a Euro model with the steering wheel on the right side and the EPS module in the engine compartment. When the #9 fuse is removed the EPS light goes out. In fact, we are trying to locate JC C407 and the other component as per diagram. Is this schematic the same? Thanks again.

Good evening!

The issue was resolved on Tuesday. We relaced the EPS control module. Everything works perfectly. Again, much gratitude for all the assistance given. Blessings!
