Greetings, please I need help for my car. The steering is heavy and EPS light is on the dash board. My technician advised me to get another EPS control unit which I got from the same model of the car but from a diesel car. The problem still the same and my technician advise I get another EPS control with a matching parts number for it to activate the rack. This is diagnosis result.
1. A problem with circuit torque sensor Amp.
2. A problem with voltage for torque sensor VT3 and VT6.
3. Excessive charge of the vehicle speed sensor signal.
4. A problem with the engine speed signal circuit.
5. A problem with the motor voltage.
6. Fail -safe relay.
Please what can I do to fix this? It is driving me crazy. Solomon from Nigeria.

The computer that controls the system is having an issue connecting with corresponding sensors. It can be intermittent and it is one of the only codes that the dealership can pull. If it stays on, have them check the code. You can often reset it by just turning the car off for a moment then starting it back up and if that doesnt work do a hard reset by pulling the negative battery cable off. Good luck.
