Engine will not start, check engine light on

Truck turns over fine replaced fuel pump thinking that was the issue. Truck still wont start verified I was getting spark and seems to have good compression. Not sure where to go next. I do have a check engine light, but no scanner to check for fault codes.

You don't need a scanner to read the fault codes in the Engine Computer on Chrysler vehicles. Cycle the ignition switch from "off" to "run" three times within five seconds without cranking the engine, leave it in "run", then watch the code numbers appear in the odometer display.
