Hello, my car refused to start but it is cranking properly. Whenever I put in the key in the cylinder, the security light keep on blinking, I have not changed the key once. I decided to use my test light to check for fuse and relay they are okay, when I checked the transponder key amplifier I discovered that the is no power source at all in any of the wires. Which wire supposed to have the power source? Does it mean that my engine control module is bad or the immobilizer system itself?

Take a look at the wiring diagram. We are going to need to trace power back to the EFI relay. If you have power there then I suspect you have a wiring issue. So I would jump power directly from the relay to the amp.

Clearly I think you found your issue, now we just need to find out why you don't have power there and the relay is the most likely cause.

Let us know what you find. Thanks

I connected it as shown in the diagram, with that there was power source at transponder key amplifier (using the test light). The engine is now working fine.
Thank you
