Hello my name is Dave.
We are going to have to get a little more information before we can identify the issue. First step will be to check for any trouble codes. Here is a link to our tutorial on how to do that:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing
Please keep in mind that without it running there is no way to know if the check engine light is actually on since this only applies to when the engine is running. If you find trouble codes they may or may not lead you directly to your problem however I would highly recommend getting back with us and going over the codes before buying/replacing any parts. Now on the fords there is a inertia fuel cut off switch that can sometimes be accidentally tripped either by a hard jolt or actually being kicked by a passenger, it is located in the passenger side kick panel and if you look closely you will see an arrow pointing to it's exact location molded into the kick panel. If these steps don't lead you to your problem then I would move on and check the fuel system here are some links to our tutorials for testing these components:
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-a-fuel-injector
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator
If it passes these tests I would move on to test the ignition for spark, the easiest way to do this is a spark tester which are readily available for less than $20.00. After you go through these steps I would recommend coming back and let us know and we can help you go through the multiple steps to track down the issue. Please keep us up to date on your progress and thank you for using 2CarPros!
