Engine will not start

Engine shut off on the road. checked all fuses they are good. Did not check relays. Has a spark from the coil. will not fire even with starting fluid.

Hello,

If your vehicle has spark from the coil, and won't start even with starting fluid, your vehicle's engine may have a compression problem. An engine needs only three things to start 1) Fuel(in your case starting fluid) 2) Spark (delivered at the proper time) 3) Compression. If these three things are present an engine has no choice but to start. I have included a few links below for you to go to:
