When I use the jumper cable it starts right away. I let it sit for at least 30 minutes to let it charge not having the vehicle running on the Spektra. My issue is. When I turn off both of the vehicles and I disconnect the jumper cable from the Spektra. There is no power and crank when starting the spectra, but when I connect the cable back. Then it starts right away. I did clean the cable connector and put a new battery. It still gives me the same issue. Please help.

Hello, do you have a multimeter? It will help to determine any electrical issues preventing your car from starting. First thing I would do is put one probe on the positive battery terminal and the other on the starter hot terminal and check the resistance, which should be 0. High resistance could mean a short to ground or a problem with the cable. When the car does start does it sound normal, or does it sound like it is struggling to start? Worn out starter bushings make it more difficult to turn and therefore pull more power that maybe one battery can't push. Just a thought. Please let us know any other information and if possible, send us a video.

Hope this helps,
William
