This car has had two computer diagnostics and services done to fix the problem. I have put about $1000 in smaller repairs and upgraded some old parts. Three different service centers states nothing is wrong but the problem still exists. On occasion you can get it to start up within a few minutes while other times it could be hours. I don't know where to start looking. Could this be a gasket leak, a bad seal on the gas tank cap or just voodoo?
I would be happy to donate and will in the future but I am not able to get to work with my car problems I am still paying the repair shops here but I can a little later.

I'M MORE OF A CJ GUY

I DO TRY TO SORTA KEEP UP WITH THE OTHERS,

EVERY TIME I SEE JEEP, I WILL READ THEIR PROBLEM AND SORTA KEEP TRACK ON THE SOLUTION ( I HAVE A FEW CHEROKEE FRIENDS, THEY SOMETIMES NEED HELP TOO!)

I'D SAY THE BIGGEST MAJORITY OF CHEROKEE QUESTIONS THAT PASS THRU HERE HAVE A CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR ISSUE (SOME WITH A CAM SENSOR)

DIES AFTER A SET TIME OF DRIVING- 45 MINUTES LATER IT WILL BUST OFF AND GO AGAIN

MY BUDDY IN AR SORTA LEARNED THE PUZZLE AND ADJUSTED HIS DRIVING PLACES TO WITHIN THE PARAMETERS OF THE CHEROKEES ROUTINE (HE LET THE CHEROKEE DRIVE HIM!) FINALLY HE GAVE IN AND INSTALLED THE CRANK SENSOR!

YOU AIN'T THROWIN' ANY CODES?
