Also, we need to confirm the correct oil was used on the last oil change as it could cause this issue and may not set DTC all the time.

Did they check the vehicle out for it vibrating or did they just replace the sensor?

Lastly does the vibration only occur while driving or can you get rough idle or higher RPM while in neutral? Is this vibration from the engine or does it feel like a tire vibration? What happens when you shift to neutral when this is happening? Does the vibration go away?

The oil has been recently changed with synthetic blend due to the high mileage of the vehicle. An alignment was also just done since we put 4 new tires on it. Could the fuel injectors need to be replaced, how about spark plugs? The car vibrates only when you press the gas pedal and you near 40 MPH +. The engine acts like its starving when you want to accelerate. We are now at a loss as to what we can do to repair this mess!

Yes, it stops when you remove the accelerator or gas pedal. Yes, you can feel it in the steering wheel.

Okay. One more set of questions. When did this start? You mention the engine light with the VVT issue and imply that you thought it was related but clearly if the light is off and this is still there then it is most likely not related.

The fact that this is felt in the steering wheel and goes away as soon as you remove the torque tells me it is in the front end or steering system and not the engine itself.

Clearly I could be misunderstanding the issue as I am not driving it but based on everything you are saying, I would put my money on a CV axle issue.
