What engines are interchangeable for 1987 Olds cutlass supreme 442?

if it is an Oldsmobile engine then you can probably put a 400 Oldsmobile in it from the early 1970's maybe a 455 if it is a Chevrolet then you can put a 5.7 or maybe a 454 . All of these may require transmission/torque converter modifications. If you search online you may find a way to modify the 5.0.

just make sure to check all mounting points prior to you doing this.
