Was told an 05 crown vic engine would work in my 03 vic n bolt up to trans with no problem. Is this true?

It should only difference would be if one were stick and other automatic. They are both 4.6L

Should be a drop in, just check if you have or don't have an engine oil cooler first. You may need a few extra pieces that are much easier to install with the engine out.
