Can I swap out 2.7 w/EGR with 2.7 w.o./EGR if I also swap out computers?

no because there are passages in head and will burn through intake. also would not meet emmissions if you live in a state where inspections are needed.

I understand that but if I'm using a used complete 2.7 w/o EGR and computer in a vehicle that had EGR if the harness is the same why would that not work?

because an egr motor is a different application and yours wouldn't pass emissions test. especially when they type in vin and see what is supposed to be in there.

I'm in Indiana no emissions testing we don't even have to have turn signals as long as you have a left arm there's cars running around here with flashlights taped to hood for head lights!!! So are the wiring harnesses the same? If I have both cars side by side complete. And not change any parts from one motor to the other just change complete motors and computer and not having to worry about emissions is there anything else stopping me from making this work?

likei said the car with the egr is going to h ave a missing plug in so computer will always read that code because of no part and will get poor gas mileage. you soldn't have to change computers. because the h arness will have a missing part to connect to. and if you change harness they may not be correct to where they hook up to firewall. you can do what you want but i'm just saying what will be wrong.

Ok! Thank ya much! I appreciate the info. Oh one more thing if I'm using the non-EGR computer it wouldn't look for the EGR signal right there would just be pig tail hanging

no it wouldn't but it may not be the correct one because harness may be different and lead to something else. you'll find out oh one other thing you'll need to get the other computer programmed to your car or itwon't start.
