Hi, I have the truck listed above (LS Xtreme Automatic) and my motor is bad. I found a 2001 2.2 Chevy S10 LS Xtreme 5-speed for cheap and want to use the motor only. So my questions are: (please if possible add in all modifications or specs need be)

1) Will the 5-speed bolts line up perfectly without modifications?

2) Will my connectors match?

3) Will I have to make any modifications for the -speed to fit properly?

Thank you in advance for your help and answers.

Hello, I'm Danny.

The engine will physical bolt up and the connectors are the same. You would only have to make changes (PCM) if you were going to switch to the manual transmission. You won't have any problems otherwise. The motors are the same.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
