I was wondering can a 3.8 v6 from a 1999 Mustang automatic transmission will go in the SUV listed above?

Not without major work. Entirely different engine families and mounting locations, plus the 3.8 is wider.

The biggest issue is you have an operating system for the original engine and it will not operate any other engine. Not to mention it would be against Federal tampering law to attempt that.
