Can I install an OHV engine instead of regular OHC engine in this truck? Any ideas or procedures are welcome. If possible what and what do I need?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

Anything can be done, but to what extent are you willing to go? Honestly, it can be done, but everything needs changed. By that, I am referring to the electrical system/wiring harnesses, ignition system, computer, engine vacuum system. The list goes on. It will turn into a nightmare. If I recall correctly, the exhaust manifolds are different and will not bolt up to your factory system.

As far as directions, there is not anything written for this type of procedure.

Let me know if you have specific questions.

Take care,
Joe

Welcome back. I understand. Actually, the older ones with the 5.0 ran the best, but they stopped making them.
