I have the car listed above. The engine seized up. My question is simple (I think). Will an engine from a 2004 Elantra with an automatic transmission bolt up to my 2005 Elantra manual transmission?

Hello,

If it is the same size engine it should. The main problem is going to be on the back of the crankshaft. There is a bearing that might need to come out to allow the the flywheel to be bolted on. Please check this and get back to us with what you find out. Otherwise all the electrical connections should connect up.

Thanks,
Alex
