i have a pickup and I am replacing the 305 with a rebuilt 1988 350.
Do i need a different flex plate? Also, what other components are different? Maybe throttle body? Maybe the computer? Thanks for any help.

Yes you will need a different flex plate and starter, The computer should be okay you will have to see.
