engine swap

swaped a 1996 1.0 lt 3 cyl engine with a crank sensor to a 1994 that had no crank sensor wired in the harness.
the motor starts up and idles perfect but will not rev up it starts sputering and even will backfire a little , is this bcause of the
crank sensor not being conected or should the motor run good without it , i swaped the intake manifold to match the wiring
harness can you help

yes, the issue is the wiring harness. it needs a crank sensor to operate correctly

you cannot wire in a crank sensor. It has to be part of the harness. You changed from obd 2 to obd 1. thats the real issue. Where is the crank sensor located??
