Engine starts, but will sputter and shut off

My truck will start right up with no issues, but within a couple seconds after start up it will start to sputter and will then shut off. If I start it up and keep my foot pressing on the gas, it will keep running just fine, but as soon as I let my foot off the gas it begins to sputter and then shuts off.

The easiest thing to check is for vacuum leaks. Listen for any excessive hissing noises in the engine compartment. Also verify that all of the hoses attached to the air filter housing are attached and clamps are tight, as well as the filter housing being fully latched!
