2005 Toyota Corolla Engine Stalling When Transmission Is in Park

Had a bank 1 o2 sensor code, converter code, coolant code, and evap code; replaced sensor, cleared coolant because it had run low at one point and has been filled, replaced gas cap, and cleared all codes, ran through drive cycle and no codes. Replaced ignition relay, replaced ignition switch, put in a new battery… still stalling in park… even faster to stall when the A/C is running. Does not stall in other gears. Help!

This sounds like the torque converter has come apart internally not allowing the engine to "freewheel" I could tell for sure if you upload a short video of the car going into park and stalling.

I had to turn the A/C on to shut off the engine in the first video. It does also grind a bit in reverse (second video) and when I put it in park, it shut off. The grinding in reverse has been for a while now, but the stalling in park is new this week.

Thanks for the videos, they help. I don't think it is the torque converter which is good. It seems more like the throttle body needs service or you have a vacuum leak.
