I’ve been getting decreased mileage and range, and when I turn to the right my engine sputters and cuts off power to the wheels. I’ve replaced the fuel pump already so I knew that wasn’t it. I’ve checked all my lines they’re all connected. I recently put in a short ram intake, so I don’t know if that would be the problem but I’ve never had a problem with it for the past four months until now. I don’t know what it is.

Good evening,

When you say it cuts off power to the wheels, do you mean the transmission disengages from the engine?

Does the transmission shift normally?

When was the last time you replaced the plugs?

It has been shifting normally until these problems arrived lol, but even if it was the transmission, would it really effect the mileage and range like this?

Yes, it would. The shift points could be changed which would effect the mileage.

Did you change the plugs?

I just replaced the spark plugs and drove around for a couple minutes. The problem still persists, and now I can feel my throttle body is remaining open. So now I’m slowly increasing speed, without accelerating.

That is the throttle body. It needs to be cleaned.
