My car d listed above every time I go on motorway 30 minutes into the drive the engine light comes on and goes on limp mode. I have to turn engine off re start and it's okay until I go back on motorway and happens again. I have replaced the MAP sensor still no luck.

Hi,

This could be the result of several different things. What you need to do is have the computer scanned to identify diagnostic trouble codes. That should point you in the right direction.

Here is a quick video showing how it's done:

I realize most people don't own a scanner. However, if you can get your hands on one, it's not hard to do. If you can't, it still should be done.

Once you get the codes, let me know what they are. The vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I still should be able to help.

Take care,
Joe

Hi,

I'm not sure why no codes are showing if it is in limp mode other than if your scanner doesn't have the ability to read codes other than engine codes. This could be related to a transmission issue. If your scanner doesn't read transmission codes or codes other than ones for the engine, you may not be seeing them.

Let me know if you have access to a different scanner that can read such codes.
