how do i determine what size my engine? is it is either 2.2 or 2.4. I am changing timing chain and water pump and they tell me the parts are different.

open glove box and look on the sticker to see if you have L61 for engine or LE5 a L61 is a 2.2L a LE5 is a 2.4. if your HHR is turbocharged it is a 2.0L.
