Engine shuts down it appears electronically

2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER

When car moving and go to slow down the engine will shut down it appears electronically, dash board lights come on. Need to put the car in neutral, as it is still moving, and turn the key and it will restart. Drop it into drive and continue driving. Can it be another GM ignition problem?

I don't think that is on the recall list. scan for codes and check fuel pressure first and make sure battery terminal ends are clean.
