Engine shake

2001 HONDA ODYSSEY
230,000 MILES • 4.5L • 6 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

When i sit at stop light the engine revs and seems like it wants to turn off but then rpm's drop to normal and everything is fine. I switched oil to Castro gtx high mileage synthetic change oil filter and put in new spark plugs. The engine has a little over 230,000 miles on it but we did compression test on the engine and everything is just fine and engine is surprisingly still running at full power.

It sounds like you might be having an issue with your idle air control valve (IAC). Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for its replacement:
