Does a replacement engine include a new VCM?

I am getting a new engine in my car due to an ongoing issue with my model. I also have a check engine light for the VCM. Will the engine replacement include a new VCM, or will I still need to do that afterwards?

Nope, the VCM is part of the intake runner control system and is serviced separately. Here is what is looks like, the VCM is bolted to the intake manifold and works butterflies inside the intake manifold port runners. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
