Engine replacement

My engine had a faulty oil line to the turbo. When i replace the engine will the turbo need to be replaced or can it be rebuilt? Trying to make sure i get a good quote for what needs to be done.

Yes, if the oil line to the turbo malfunctioned I would definitely have the turbo rebuilt. The oil from the engine is ran through the turbo to act as a lubricant and to help heat dissipation.If the turbo was starved of engine oil I'm sure the bearings are ruined.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
