Engine removal procedures?

Do not know if I must remove transmission and transfer case to remove the engine.

No, you don't, in fact it is easier to remove the engine separately. Here are the instructions with diagrams in the images below to help show you how, and I have included a video that shows the job being done on a similar vehicle.

Start by disconnecting the battery, drain the engine oil and coolant, also vacuum down the AC system, this video will help:

Also, once the engine is out, please do not allow the torque converter to move forward out of the transmission, if so what this video to show you how to make sure it is correctly installed.
