hi there i am currently rebuilding a ford escort mk2 1600 sport and i m Looking for all the torque specifications valve clearances etc for rebuilding a crossflow engine to std spec cheers

Your best resource will be the manufacturer's service manual. Look on eBay. I bought a lot of Ford books from "blackhatauctions". They used to go by "lorieandjeff".

You can also buy a digital version from AllData or Mitchell. We have links from this site to Mitchell. I prefer paper over anything else because you will always have it and you can write notes if you want to. The online subscriptions are expensive and they expire.
