No spark from the distributor

No spark on the engine engine doesn't turn. There is no spark coming from distributor.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

First, when spark is lost, my first suspect is always a bad crankshaft position sensor. Take a look through these links. The first describes the component I mentioned. The second link describes symptoms, and the third shows in general how to replace one.
