Not starting

I was having alternator and battery problems so I went bought a new alternator and new battery. The car cranked at first when everything was on there, then my 02 sensor started smoking so my boyfriend said not to drive it. So the next afternoon the car was completely dead no lights no clicking no power at all. I need help please.
