Engine oil light illumunates before starting engine

Every time before the engine starts I turn the ignition half way leave the engine oil light illumunates in orange colour for several seconds before I turn the key full turn and start the engine the oil light goes off

The oil pressure light will go off after the engine has started, is this what you are seeing?

Amber / orange oil light can indicate low oil level or a faulty oil level sensor... red oil light means low oil pressure.
